Ashana Back on the Radio with Gary Goldberg on August 5, 2010
Ashana will once again be a featured guest on Gary Goldberg's In The Spirit Radio show (WRPI-91.5 fm) on August 5 at 12:10 pm EST.
Ashana and Thomas Barquee return to the studio
Ashana and Thomas Barquee are back in the studio at work on Ashana's upcoming CD, Chalice of Grace, which is scheduled for release on September 15, 2010. Eight songs have been written for this album, including a heart-opening song to the Virgin Guadalupe, sung in Spanish, called "Tu Eres"; an exquisite helaing kundalini yoga chant, "Ra Ma Da Sa," and an amazing, joyful rendition of The Prayer of St Francis, which Ashana and Thomas are calling "To Be Loved." 5 more delicious songs will be on the CD which features Ashana's vocals and crystal singing bowls. And if that isn't enough to whet your appetite, Ashana and Thomas will be releasing a second special extended play CD version of two meditation chants later in the year. Three tracks from Jewels of Silence are featured in the audio companion CDs to Danielle Hoffman's award-winning book, "Temples of Light."
